Trump and the FBI
This is a news story I will share:

As a general principle, if you assume the FBI is acting in a corrupt manner you will be right. I assumed at the outset that Joe Biden (or whoever puts documents in front of him to sign) ordered this raid, and that it was intended simply to create political and legal problems for Trump. Getting Trump behind bars would have been a bonus, but the main intent is simply harassment, to create more legal expenses, legal headaches, and to distract him from campaigning, and to the extent possible to tarnish him in the public mind. I don’t think I alleged that the FBI planted evidence, but it would seem that they did. Why not? If the raid itself is bullshit, why not pile wrong onto wrong? The ethical line has already been crossed.
I was watching a documentary the other day that J. Edgar Hoover seemingly worked directly with some Mafiosi. He was a gay cross dresser in an era when such a thing was extremely scandalous, and they purported had pictures of him naked with his lover, Clyde Tolson, who was the number 2 man at the FBI. He seemingly took bribes—I will link the movie in my next post—by betting large sums on horse races that were fixed by the Mob. He also kept dossiers on all US politicians that he could, to blackmail them when needed to protect himself, his interests, and his position specifically.
That was the beginning of the FBI. Why would anyone assume it has changed, when their HQ is named after a man who used blackmail as a tool of the trade, and was thus functionally equal to the criminals he prosecuted?
