As is always the case, we are left to speculate, but I will say at the outset that the FBI and Secret Service both employ intelligent, motivated people. They are not incompetent. When they ARE incompetent, it is reasonable to assume it is intentional.

This was intentional. They gave him the time and space to take the shots, knowing full well he would be dead instantly, and telling no tales. He just missed.

If he had hit Trump, there would have been admissions, after a long investigation, of “errors made”, but the deed would have been done. Their willfully exposing Trump to danger would not have mattered any more than the guards to allowed Epstein to be killed. None of them faced any consequences, even though most and probably all of them were complicit.

Ponder the implications of a nation where even his security detail cannot be trusted to keep him safe. Where even our Praetorian Guard is filled with corrupt assholes?

It doesn’t take much brainpower to see where all this is leading. Some of those guys could easily have been working under the direct orders of whoever is actually running this country. That can only lead to dictatorship and political oppression.
